FTE as an Additional Attribute of a Position

The FTE (full-time equivalent) can be used as an additional attribute of a position.

The FTE relates the planned working time of a position to the standard working time of the organizational unit to which the position is assigned (including the inheritance logic of the general working time of the organizational unit).

If, for example, the standard working time is 40 hours, and the planned working time for the position is 20 hours per week, this is equal to an FTE value of 0.5. If, on the other hand, the planned working time for the position is 40 hours per week, the position has an FTE value of 1.

If there no particular working time has been defined for the position, it has by definition an FTE value of 1.
