• The PP module for discrete manufacturing is used.
• You are not able to apply this calculated key figure in the process industries module (PP-PI) if a phase dedicated exclusively to the set-up has been created. At the work centers (known as resources in PI) you can maintain a standard value for the set-up time, a different value for the processing time, and so on. In the PP-PI module, however, only the duration of the internal processing is taken into account by the scheduling formulas ("Scheduling" view in the resources). The formulas for "Set-Up Time" and "Tear Down Time" are not referred to in the scheduling. The Processing Time field is also not used in the scheduling of the process orders. In PI only the Internal Processing Time is calculated for each phase. Even in the calculation that works out capacities (Capacities view in the resource) only the formulas for internal processing are used.
