Task Area

The plant manager has overall responsibility for the plant, that is, cost centers, personnel and production and has primarily administrative tasks and a management function. They adjust the goals defined for the plant to coincide with corporate/factory goals, the superior supply chain and also the subordinate areas. They make investment decisions and are responsible for budget and personnel planning, taking central planning into account as well as coordinating with the areas involved.

They use various forms of analysis to check whether the following goals are being attained:
