Procedure documentation Analyzing the Data Load Status  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use the report-report interface (RRI) functionality to analyze the execution and request status for BI operations. RRIs allow seamless navigation from the iViews to the relevant transaction or query. RRIs ensure:

Minimal effort in administration of BI systems

Immediate navigation to the transaction or query, optimizing the time taken

      Optimal system performance

Note

Most RRIs are common to all iViews, but some RRIs are specific to iViews on specific monitors.

Procedure

       1.      On the Data Load Status screen, choose any <Monitor>.

Note

<Monitor> here refers to any of the available monitors in the data load status workset, for example Process Status.

       2.      On the <Monitor>, in the BI System Selection area, select a BW System.

       3.      In the context menu of the relevant iView, select an RRI.

Displays the individual processes in the selected process chain in transaction RSPC. You can view the individual processes involved in the process chain as a tree structure.

See: Process Chain Logs Display

Change Process Chain

Displays the selected process chain in edit mode (Process Chain Maintenance Modified Version) in transaction RSPC. You can maintain individual processes involved in the process chain as a tree structure.

See: Implementing Your Own Process Type

Process Monitor

Starts transaction SM51 (SAP Servers) for the NetWeaver system that you selected in the NetWeaver Administrator.

See: Monitoring Servers and Work Processes

Change a Process

Displays the maintenance page for the process type of the selected process. You can for example reschedule the start time for the start process.

Note

This RRI only applies to the process status iView.

RRIs for the Object Request Status and InfoProvider Status

You can access the following RRIs:

Report-Report Interfaces

RRI Name

Description

<BI object> Status: Analysis

For the selected BI object, you can view the number of erroneous requests or records. Erroneous requests or records are records or requests that cannot be aggregated or activated.

Starts InfoProvider Administration for the selected BI object. You can view the details of requests on which the BI application is built. You can also view details, such as the request ID, request status, number of records transferred, number of records added, and source system.

See: Administration of InfoProviders

Display <BI Object>

Opens the Display <BI object> page for the selected BI application. You can edit the <BI object> on which the BI application is built as well as the <BI object> structure. For example, you can edit the dimensions, key figures and attributes for the InfoCube.

Change <BI Object>

Opens the Edit <BI object> page for the selected BI application. You can view the <BI object> on which the BI application is built as well as the <BI object> structure. For example, you can view the dimensions, key figures and attributes for the <BI object>.

Object Overview
