You can use this integration scenario to integrate SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) with SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services. You create the export declarations in SAP TM, and SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services automatically handles the customs procedure and approval. SAP TM receives a confirmation from SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services and can then set the customs status.
You can find the TM_GTSExportDeclarationIntegration integration scenario in the Enterprise Services Repository in the SAPTM IC software component in the http://sap.com/xi/TMS/Global/IC namespace.
The integration scenario comprises the following asynchronous communication steps between SAP TM and SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services:
Send Export Declaration Request
On the basis of a freight order, SAP TM sends a request to create or cancel an export declaration to SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services.
Receive Export Declaration Request
SAP BusinessObjects Global Trade Services receives the request, creates or cancels an export declaration, and sends back a confirmation.
Receive Export Declaration Confirmation
SAP TM receives the confirmation of the creation or cancellation of the export declaration, and updates the corresponding freight order.
