Prerequisites

Your browser is set up to allow for Active X controls. For more information, see Startup Requirements.

Microsoft Excel or Word is installed. If you do not have Excel or Word installed, you will receive a message stating that you cannot proceed with this function.

Procedure

  1. Display the initiatives to be exported or display the initiative whose milestones or sub-milestones you want to export.

  2. Click Export to display the Export dialog box.

  3. If this is the first time you are exporting, you will be prompted to download an ActiveX control from the Web server where your strategy management products are installed. Follow the prompts to download the necessary components. You will not be prompted again.

  4. Enter the values as shown in the table below.

Select whether to send the exported output to Word or Excel.

Initiatives Summary

Exports initiatives in the Initiatives Summary.

Detail View

Click this to export milestones and sub-milestones.

Result

The Microsoft Excel or Word program is opened and the report data is displayed in a file.
