Subscribing to Alerts for Initiatives 
Procedure
In the My Alerts section, click Subscribe to display the Alerts Subscription dialog box.
Select one or more initiatives and click the right arrow button >> to add it to the list.
Enter the desired options.

Description
A date, status, or milestone changed
You will be notified when a date, status, or milestone is changed for any of the selected initiatives.
A milestone will slip behind schedule in <num> days
You will be notified if a milestone or sub-milestone from any of the selected initiatives is due within <num> calendar days and is currently incomplete.
The default number of days is three calendar days, but your administrator has the capability to change that number.
When using the A milestone will slip behind schedule in <num> days feature, you will be alerted nightly every night for the remaining <num> days. If you complete a milestone or sub-milestone before the <num> days are up, or if the <num> days transpire and the milestone or sub-milestone becomes behind schedule, you will no longer be alerted. If more than one milestone or sub-milestone in the same initiative triggers the alert, you receive only one alert for that initiative.
A comment was added
You will be notified immediately when a comment is added to any of the selected initiatives.
