A perspective is an indicator for the various aspects of a business where an organization needs to focus to execute on its strategy. Perspectives are categories of strategic objectives that provide a full view of your company. For example, perspectives such as financial, customer, internal, learning & growth provide a balanced framework for telling the story of the strategy in cause-effect terms.

Use the Perspective Details view to review details about a particular perspective in the context such as how a perspective's status color is determined.

Not all sites implement scored perspectives. If you do not see a status indicator next to a perspective in the Objectives view, the Scorecard Overviews view, or the Scorecard Comparison view, it means this perspective is not being measured.

Features

The Perspective Details view has these features:

  • If the perspective is measured by a KPI, the Perspective Details view shows details about the standard KPI that is used to measure the perspective. This view is similar to a KPI Details view.

  • If the perspective is measured by an index of objectives, the Perspective Details view shows details about the objectives that are used to measure the perspective. This screen is similar to Objective Details view.
