You can adjust the visual relationship between selected objects. You can align perspectives, mission and vision statements, and text objects, or align objectives within a perspective box, or both.

Prerequisites

You are in Design Manually mode.

Features

You can do the following to align objects:

  • You can align all objects other than objectives using the Align Perspectives checkbox and then specifying the orientation in the Align Diagram Objects dialog box.

    Note Note

    You must select more than one object for Align Perspectives to work.

  • You can align the objectives using Align Objectives and then specifying the orientation in just one perspective or multiple perspectives, depending on how many you select.

  • You can adjust the size of the object using the Resize Objects checkbox and entering a new width and height.

Caution Caution

Do not choose Auto-Layout mode after aligning diagram objects or changing their size. Auto-Layout organizes diagram objects into a predefined layout and cannot be undone.

Activities

To align objects, press SHIFT and click the object(s) you want to align and choose   Format   Align Objects   to display the Align Diagram Objects dialog box.
