You can set which metrics and dimension members appear in the report, and which dimension members will be used to filter the report.

Features

You can do the following to adjust your data:

  • You can add or remove metric(s).

The number of metrics you are allowed to select depends on the template you are working with. The allowed number is shown in the window caption of the Select Metrics dialog box.

Do not select a measure with text values or else it will not appear correctly in the report.

  • You can select the dimension members to display in the report.

By default, the Total member of a dimension is displayed unless you select other members or drill down on that member.

In a Trend and Forecast report, this button does not appear.

  • You can filter the dimension members that do not appear in the report.

Any dimension that is not in the report layout is a filter dimension. By default, the Total member of the filter dimensions is used as the filter.
