Setting Entry and Approval Defaults 
From the Database drop-down list in the Entry and Approval main window, choose the model.
Click Set Defaults to display Set Entry Approval Defaults.
In the Display Name text box, type the name as you want it to appear in the Entry and Approval component. Specify only alphanumeric characters (a-z, 0-9) and a maximum size of 30 characters.
Note
You should not use special characters in the name. The following special characters are not supported: (/) forward slash, (\) back slash, (<) less than, (>) greater than, (') single quote, (") double quote, (,) comma, (:) color, and (;) semicolon.
From the Fiscal Year Start drop-down list, choose the month that begins the fiscal year in the model.
Define the Current Period and the PAS Model Date Range.
In the Workflow Steps section, type the names of additional steps after Step 1 Data Entry.
In the Entry and Approval Administrators section, from the list of All Users select the user to function as the Entry and Approval administrator for this model, and click >> to add the name to the Selected users list.
Select any of these options in the Data Entry Permissions section:
Select Enter current period data via Excel to give users permission to use Excel to enter data.
Select Input/overwrite current period target data to give users permission to enter or overwrite target data for the current period.
Select Input historical data (actual and target) to give users permission to enter actual and target historical data.
Select Input future data (target) to give users permission to enter future target data.
From the PAS Model Metrics list, select the metrics that you want to appear in the Entry and Approval's Metric drop-down list of the Create Metric Set dialog box, and click the >> button.
Click Save to save the Entry and Approval default settings for the selected model. Once the current period is updated, all previously defined metric sets for the model are reset to the Setup step and the Release Now option appears in the Metric Sets table.
