Start

Click the Calendar icon to display a calendar where you specify the month, day, and year for the day on which to start this milestone or sub-milestone.

If no previous date has been set, by default, today's date is selected. Click on the date, and then click the X button in the top right corner of the calendar.

Actual End

Click the Calendar icon and specify the actual end date similar to the way you selected the start date. When you first create the milestone or sub-milestone, this information will be unknown.

Rule based status

Override status

Specify how the milestone's schedule status indicator will be colored:

  • To color the milestone by comparing the actual end date and target end date according to certain rules, select Rule based status. For more information, see Schedule Status Determination.

  • To specify a status of your choice and override the rule-based status for milestones, select a status from the Override status drop-down list.
