GRC Scorecard KPI Administration
Use to create Application Server measures from Risk Management data.
When you update the Application Server model, Application Server creates the five measures that make up a KPI and the Risk Category dimension in the model.
Once this is complete, you can create risk KPIs from the measures, and access the KPIs in the Scorecard component of the application.
You are the strategy management administrator.
Your system administrator has configured the application to work with a Risk Management implementation. For information, see the Configuration Help for SAP BusinessObjects Strategy Management on SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/instguidesEPM-STM.
You do the following in the GRC – Scorecard KPI screen to map the Risk Management data to Application Server measures:
Specify the model connection to work with.
Select the Application Server dimension to match GRC Organization Units.
Select the dimension member to associate with each GRC Organizational Unit.
Select the score calculation to use for this measure. The calculation methods for the score are described in the following table:
Calculation Method |
Use |
|---|---|
Achievement % |
Calculate measures for the score value of the KPI if the ideal score is when actual exceeds the target. For example, you would use the Achievement %calculation method on the Revenue measure. |
Reduction % |
Calculate measures for the score value of the KPI if the ideal score is when actual is less than target. For example, you would use the Reduction % calculation method on the Cost or Expense measure. |
Absolute % |
Calculate measures for the score value of the KPI if the ideal score is when actual is equal to target. For example, you would use the Absolute % calculation method on the Inventory measure. |
Zero Target |
Calculate measures for the score value of the KPI if the ideal score is when actual and target are both 0. For example, you would use the Zero Target calculation method on the Product Defects or Employee Sick Days measure. |
Deviation % |
Calculate measures for the score value of the KPI when you want to express the score as the percentage above or below the desired target. |
Specify a prefix to use for the five measures.
Each measure has a unique prefix to identify the type of measure, followed by the measure type. For example, if you enter Market Risk, then the measures Market Risk-Actual, Market Risk-Target, Market Risk-Target Deviation, Market Risk-Trend, and Market Risk-Trend Deviation are created using the specified calculation method.
Update the Application Server model to create the Application Server measures.
Note
You can also set up a schedule to load Application Server measures using the Risk Management Measures activity in the Scheduler.
