You create a visualization to define the appearance of the KPI or the report for the user.

Procedure

Visualizing Tiles
  1. On the home screen, choose Manage Visualizations from the action menu at the bottom left corner.

  2. Search for and select the evaluation to which you want to apply the visualization in the All Evaluations side panel using the KPI or the evaluation title.

  3. Choose the Tiles tab and click Add Tile.

  4. On the Add Tile screen, choose the tile type. The following tile types are available:

    1. KPI Tile

This tile has a square shape and you use it to visualize a KPI evaluation.

Choose the KPI tile format. The following tile formats are available:

      • Numeric tile

Data is presented in a number format

      • Deviation tile

Data is presented graphically in the form of a bullet chart that shows the current value of the KPI in relation to the target value and its thresholds.

      • Trend tile

Data is presented as a line chart illustrating the trend over time. You must enter a time dimension representing a duration (for example, month or week) to visualize this tile.

      • Comparison tile

Select one dimension to show the top KPI values for this dimension in comparison to each other. For example, if you select Customer as the dimension for a specific KPI you see a comparison of the values for the top customers contributing to this KPI. You must enter a time dimension representing a duration (for example, month or week) to visualize this tile.

      Note Note

Under Parameters you can see which tile elements are bound to the KPI definition and you can make the following settings:

      • Enter a Dimension:

Enter a dimension for the tile. This option is only available for the trend tile and the comparison tile.

      • Display Values:

Choose whether to display the top three or the bottom three measures or dimensions. This option is only available for the comparison tile.

      • Value changes every:

To choose the refresh time for the KPI value, enter a number and select a parameter, for example seconds, minutes, or hours. If you do not configure the refresh time, the default time is every 10 mins.

      End of the note.
    2. Report Tile:

This tile has a rectangular shape and you can use it to visualize a report or a KPI evaluation.

      1. Choose one of the available report tile formats, which are as follows:

        • Line chart

Data is displayed in the form of lines at equal intervals. Line charts compare continuous data over time against a common scale and are used to show trends.

        • Bar chart

Displays data in the form of horizontal bars.

        • Column chart

Displays data in the form of vertical columns. You can use column charts to illustrate comparisons.

        • Combination chart

Displays data in the form of a line chart and a column chart.

      2. Enter a time dimension, for example week or month.
