Setting Up the SAP HANA Server

Use

SAP Fiori analytical apps use design-time objects stored in the SAP HANA repository. These design-time objects are provided by SAP. However, you must first import these objects, in the form of delivery units, into your SAP HANA system.

Procedure

1	Import the required content packages by using SAP Solution Manager or by downloading the relevant zip files directly from SAP Service Marketplace.	Depending on the analytical app that you want to use, you have to install the respective SAP Smart Business product version on your SAP HANA server. After installation, the software components included in the product version are available on your SAP HANA server. The SAP Smart Business product versions contain the required software components (such as the required VDMs). For more information, see Product Installation Information in the documentation of the respective SAP Smart Business product.
2	Install the SAP Smart Business modeler apps framework.	According to the SAP Fiori app that you want to use, you have to install the SAP Smart Business Modeler Apps product version on your SAP HANA server. After installation, the software components included in the product version are available on your SAP HANA server. For more information, see "Installation Requirements (Analytical Apps)".
