 Configuration Settings: Customer Reports

 

This document contains configuration information for the Customer Reports app.

Before you can use this app, you need to configure it using the SAP Smart Business Modeler.

Before you can use this app, you need to configure it using the SAP Smart Business Modeler.

Note Note

To configure the app, please make copies of the KPI, evaluations, and drill-down configurations provided by SAP, and make your changes in these copies. Also, create your own tiles.

Please do not change the original versions provided by SAP, since new support packages and releases would overwrite your changes.

The KPI has been preconfigured as follows.

Prerequisites

  • You must have created the SAP HANA Live reports in SAP CRM using SAP CRM HANA Live Reporting.

  • You have assigned the following SAP ABAP roles to the desired users in the front-end server:

    • /UI2/SAP_KPIMOD_TCR_S

    • /UI2/SAP_KPIFRW5_TCR_S

Process

  • Configure a KPI tile and add it to the SAP Fiori Launchpad.

    Example Example

    The following example can be referred to configure a tile for the reports related to Opportunity standard VDM:

    1. Add a KPI Tile

      1. Launch the Fiori Launchpad link.

      2. Choose the tile Create KPI, under the group KPI Modeler.

        KPI Definition:

        1. Enter values for the following fields:

          If, for a field, values are not available for selection, you have to manually enter the value mentioned in the table.

        2. Choose Save and Activate.

        Evaluation Definition:

        1. Select the KPI and choose Add Evaluation.

          Note Note

          If you select an existing KPI, you do not have to enter the data source fields again.

          The Filter Settings and Input Parameters defined while creating the SAP HANA Live reports in the SAP CRM system will override the values defined in the above tile definition. For example, if there are no Filter Settings and Input Parameters defined while creating the SAP HANA Live reports in the SAP CRM system and you have defined these fields in the evaluation definition while creating the tile, no Filter Settings and Input Parameters will be considered.

        2. Choose Save and Activate.

        Add Tile to an Evaluation

        1. Go back to the Fiori Launchpad and search for the Evaluation that you created in the previous step.

        2. Select the Evaluation and choose Add Tile.

        3. Enter values in the following fields:

          If Semantic Object and Action are not filled, use CRMInMemoryAnalytics and displayMyReports.

        4. Choose Save and Activate.

        Authorizations:

        1. Go back to the Fiori Launchpad and choose the tile Manage KPI Authorizations.

        2. Search for the KPI that you created in the earlier steps.

        3. Select the KPI and choose Authorize Users and Roles.

        4. Search for users under the Users tab and select desired users one at a time.

          As the users are selected, the list of users who can use the KPI is updated under the Selected tab.

        5. Choose Save.

    2. Add Tile to SAP Fiori Launchpad

      The KPI tile that you created in the earlier steps is now available in the Catalog. You can add the KPI tile to the Fiori Launchpad, using the following steps:

      1. Go back to the Fiori Launchpad and choose Tile Catalog.

      2. Search and select the tile that you created in the earlier steps.

      3. Choose Back.

        The tile is added to the Fiori Launchpad.

Result

Based on the type of query, the relevant SAP CRM HANA Live reports are displayed.
