You can use this business process to view, edit or update invoices in SAP SRM that are based on lease quotations created in SAP CRM.

The invoices can be created with or without references to purchase orders or to external requirements; they must, however, contain external references to the corresponding leasing quotations in the SAP CRM system. When an invoice is created, a notification is sent to the connected SAP CRM system using the SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI). The invoice approval is automatically triggered in SAP SRM by an XML message from the SAP CRM system.

You can carry out an invoice simulation that automatically processes the relevant checks in the Financial Accounting (FI) back-end system.

After the invoices have been posted, you can either manually cancel them or the cancellation can be automatically triggered in SAP SRM by an XML message from the SAP CRM system.

  1. Enter invoice in SAP SRM

  2. Simulate invoice

  3. Verify leasing invoice

  4. System approves invoice (triggered from SAP CRM)

  5. Cancel invoice

  6. System cancels invoice (triggered from SAP CRM)
