Setting Up Authorizations for the Invoice Management System 

You set up authorizations for the Invoice Management System (IMS) in transaction PFCG.

Authorization object BBP_PD_INV contains a new activity (36; "Extended Maintenance").

In the standard system, this activity is deactivated for purchasing assistants, and activated for invoice verification clerks.

 

If this activity has been activated for you, you have the following options:

• You can use the invoice monitor.
• You can change the status and processor of an exception.
• If you click the Post pushbutton and the invoice still contains errors, it is not posted to the FI system. You receive an information message about this.
