Text IDs are used in integrated document types for integration with SAP ERP or SAP SRM. They are used to specify the text ID that is to be used in the document in the back-end system to create the SAP Sourcing document ID reference. You can create or change text IDs manually here.

 

Creating a Text ID

  1. Choose Setup in the toolbar at the top of the page.

  2. On the Master Data tab, in the Master Data area, click Text IDs.

  3. Choose the New button.

  4. On the Creating: New Text ID page, fill in the fields with information about the text ID.

  5. Save your entries.

Changing a Text ID

  1. Choose Setup in the toolbar at the top of the page.

  2. On the Master Data tab, in the Master Data area, click Text ID.

  3. On the Text ID page, click the text ID that you want to edit.

  4. On the Displaying: Text ID page, choose Edit in the toolbar.

  5. Edit any fields.

  6. Save your entries.
