By integrating SAP Sourcing with SAP SPM, you can do the following in SAP Sourcing:

  • Create an RFx

  • Create an Auction

  • Create a Project

  • Update a pre-existing RFx

  • Update a pre-existing Project

Prerequisites

In SPM the report has the Source System Category and the Source System Supplier because these are the IDs from the backend ERP system. The fields transferred between SAP Sourcing and SAP SPM are Product Category, Line Item ID, Description, and Quantity. in the Line Item tab, and the Suppliers name and ID in the Suppliers Tab. Quantity is set to 1 by default. For the case of Projects, the line items are transferred as an Excel file attachment to the document.
