XPress Request Template Specifications 
On the Specifications page, you can:
Add line item specifications to the template
Import specifications from a library

The following provides help for the fields in the Line Item Specification dialog box.

Description |

Specification Attribute Name |
Type a name for the specification. |
Entry Required by Internal Customer |
Select this checkbox to indicate that an internal customer must enter a value for this specification. |
Entry Required before Open for Bid |
Select this checkbox to indicate that this specification must contain a value to open the request for bidding. |
Allow Multiple Options per Line Item |
Select this checkbox to allow the XPress request creator to add multiple options for this specification. |
Type |
Select the type of specification response from the dropdown list. |
Description |
Enter a description of the specification. |
Display Field |
If applicable, select the type of field in which the request creator is to enter the response. |
Default Value |
If applicable, specify a default value for the specification. |
Allow Override of Default Value |
Select this checkbox x to enable the request creator to replace the default value with another value. |
Internal ID |
Enter an internal ID for the specification. This value is used as a cross-reference tag in custom reports. |

Adding Specifications to an XPress Request Template
For more information about individual fields on this page, see table above.
To add specifications:
On the Specifications page, choose Add.
In the Line Item Specification dialog box, make entries in the required fields.
Choose OK.
Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each specification you wish to add.
Save your entries.
