RFx Line Item Rules and Allocations 
An auto-allocation is the allocation generated by the Optimizer for a specific line item to one or more suppliers.
On the Line Item Rules & Allocations page, you can do the following for a specific Optimizer scenario:
View the details for RFx line items
Edit line item allocations
Select an individual line item rule
Add and delete RFx line item bundles
Delete rules and auto-allocations for selected RFx line items
You can access the Line Item Rules & Allocations page from the Awards tab in the RFx.
You can enter a line item allocation for a manual scenario or override an automatic line item allocation on the Line Item Rules & Allocations page.
To enter or edit a line item allocation:
Select Edit for the line item to allocate.
On the Line Item Award Scenario page, choose Allocate Manually.
In the Quantity or Percent text box, specify a quantity or percentage of the line item to be filled, and select Show Offers to see a list of suppliers who can supply that quantity or percentage.
Select Add for each supplier to whom you want to allocate the specified quantity or percentage of the line item. The suppliers are added to the allocation table.
Select Finish.
Save your entries.
On the Line Item Rules & Allocations page, select Edit for each line item for which you want to select a rule.
In the dialog box for Line Item Award Scenario in Scenario, choose Add Rule.
Select a rule type and then select Create.
Enter required data and then select OK.
Save your entries.
On the Line Item Rules & Allocations page, choose a grouping option from the Group By drop-down list.
Select Manage Bundles.
Choose one of the following:
Add Custom Bundle
Add Category Bundle
Add Location Bundle
Add Plant Bundle
Add Material Bundle
In the dialog box for New Line Item Bundle Rule in Scenario, enter data for Included Line Items, Rule Settings, General Exclusions, Offer Exclusions, and Filters.
Under Included Line Items, select Add.
Select each line item to include in the scenario and select Finish.
Note
Only items that do not already have an assigned rule can be added to a bundle.
Select OK.
To delete the line item bundle, choose Manage Bundles, select the bundles to deleted, and then choose Delete Selected Bundle.
You can delete an auto-allocation only or delete an auto-allocation and a rule on the Line Item Rules & Allocations page.
To delete rules and auto-allocations for selected line items:
Select the box for each line item for which to delete.
Choose Delete Rules rules and auto-allocations. Choose Delete Auto-Allocations to delete the auto-allocation.
Choose OK.
