Line Item Specifications Page

On the Line Item Specifications tab of RFx Setup, you can add and define line item specifications. Line item specifications provide detailed information for the line items in the RFx, such as technical and service specifications.

After adding a line item specification, you can assign it a value for a specific line item on the Editing: RFx Line Item page. If you do not assign a new value, the default specification value is used.

You can also view the Line Item Specifications page by choosing Document and selecting Setup.

Description

Add Group

You can add an unlimited number of groups.

Add Spec

You can add an unlimited number of specifications. You must add at least one group before adding specifications.

Reorder List

Choose to reorder groups or specifications or to move specifications between groups.

Activities

Adding a Line Item Specification to a New Group

  1. On the Line Items page, choose Line Item Setup. The Line Item Specifications tab is displayed.

  2. Choose Add Group.

  3. Enter a name and description for the group.

  4. Choose Add.

  5. Enter specification details.

  6. Choose OK.

  7. Save your changes.

Adding a Line Item Specification to an Existing Group

  1. On the Line Items page, choose Line Item Setup. The Line Item Specifications tab is displayed.

  2. Choose Add Spec.

  3. Enter specification details, including selecting a group from the Insertion Point dropdown.

  4. Choose OK.

  5. Save your changes.

Changing the Default Specification Value for a Line Item

  1. On the Line Items page, choose the Edit icon for a line item

  2. Under Line Item Specifications, edit default specification values as needed.

  3. Enter specification details, including selecting a group from the Insertion Point dropdown.

  4. Save your changes.
