Creating Freestyle Roles and WorksetsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can create freestyle roles and worksets by copying existing roles and changing their content, or by creating the objects from scratch, within the Portal Catalog. You can also upload roles from back-end systems and from downloaded SAP business packages.

This section describes how to create new roles and worksets from scratch and how to copy existing objects in the Portal Catalog. For more information about uploading roles, see Uploading Roles from Packages and Uploading Roles from Back-End Systems .

Prerequisites
  • You have created the folders that will contain the new roles and worksets.

  • You have assigned administration permissions for the new folders.
