Assigning Authorizations for ILM Retention Management Cockpit

You can provide Retention Management functions by SAP NetWeaver ILM for use in a live application system as a cockpit in the SAP menu as well as in SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC).

The ILM Retention Management Cockpit (RM Cockpit) is based on a role-specific menu structure. For this, SAP delivers a role with the menu structure of the complete scope of functions of Retention Management. SAP also delivers a role with the menu structure of a restricted scope of functions.

Procedure

To edit roles, call transaction (PFCG) in the SAP system.

Assign the roles with the required authorizations to your user or to the users who need to use ILM Retention Management Cockpit.

Assign the role on which the ILM Retention Management Cockpit menu structure is based.
