Connection Timeout

• The maximum time the portal waits for a connection

Connection URL

• Defines the JDBC connection URL to the system.

• Along with the Driver Class Name property and the User/Password values supplied by the User Mapping Service, this property enables connection to the external application.

Driver Class Name

• This value defines the JDBC driver used to connect to the system.

• Along with the Connection URL property and the User/Password values supplied by the User Mapping Service, this property enables connection to the external application.

Category: Information

The property values in this category are assigned during the running of the System wizard.

Description

• An optional description of the system, if one was not inserted during the running of the System wizard

System Name

• The name assigned to the system when running the System wizard

• Mandatory, exists for each system

Object Type

• Defines the type of the component; for example, system, page, iView, and so on. When importing components, the search could be based on this property

• Exists for each system; assigned automatically when you launch the System wizard

• The connection factory class name for the connector through which the system connects

• Mandatory when working with a connector
