Configuring SAP Fiori Borders in iViews and PagesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Administrators can enhance the user experience by configuring iViews and pages so that header and/or footer bars appear at runtime in the SAP Fiori launchpad.

Context

You can enable the following SAP Fiori borders:

  • Header bar - Contains the iView/page title and a back button.

  • Footer bar - Can contain the following UI elements:

    • Related Links

If administrators have set up related links, users can select this option to open a popup window with these related links.

    • Dynamic Navigation

If administrators have set up dynamic navigation objects, users can select this option to open a popup window with a dynamic navigation iView/page.

A maximum of three dynamic iViews/pages can be configured to appear in the footer bar. If more than three dynamic iViews/pages have been configured, only the first three listed appear.

    • Save as Tile

Users can save an iView/page as a tile to the home page.

Users can click or tap the (Actions) icon to open a menu containing the Save as Tile option.

      Note

Saving a running iView/page as a tile may not always save the object state. The state of BI-specific content is saved, through the use of BI bookmarks.
