Transporting Device GroupsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can transfer device groups between systems by adding the Device Group Container object to transport packages (EPA files) in the same way as you add other objects to transport packages.

You add the Device Group Container object from the Portal Catalog to the transport package in the Package Export Editor ( Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step Transport Next navigation step Transport Packages End of the navigation path Export . For more information, see Adding Content to a Transport Package .

Note

You cannot transport individual device groups - only the device group container (which automatically contains all device groups).
