Defining WindowsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

You must define at least one window for every form. Otherwise it is not possible to format texts. Window definition involves a list of window names and corresponding window types. Units of measurement are not taken into account here.

Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Windows End of the navigation path. This takes you to the input screen for windows. A main window (MAIN) is displayed automatically. You can define a default paragraph here.

You can define additional windows as follows:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Create Element End of the navigation path or choose F5 to add new window names and types to the list.

  2. A dialog box appears. Enter a window name and its description. Confirm your entries by choosing ENTER. Your entry is added to the list.

Input-enabled fields are displayed on the lower half of the screen. The Description field receives the value from the dialog box. The value for the Window Type field is set by the system.

  3. Make your entries or changes. You can define one standard paragraph per window in the Default Paragraph field.

    Note

By default, the system sets VAR as the window type for windows with variable contents. If you prefer another window type, simply overwrite this value.

Repeat these steps for each of your windows. Save your entries using the F11 function key, or choose Start of the navigation path Form Next navigation step Save End of the navigation path or Start of the navigation path Form Next navigation step Save As End of the navigation path.
