Before entering all header data on the Change Form Header screen, you must create the form by defining paragraph and character formats. The system displays a warning if, in the header data, you specify a paragraph or a first page that has not yet been defined.

Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Paragraphs End of the navigation path. This takes you to the input screen for paragraph formats and their standard attributes. You can create new paragraph tags in the form as follows:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Create Element End of the navigation path or choose F5.

  2. A dialog box appears. Enter the paragraph tag and a short description and confirm your entries by choosing ENTER. The paragraph tag is created. The system sets line spacing, alignment, and units of measurement.

Choose Start of the navigation path Attributes Next navigation step Font End of the navigation path to define the font attributes for the paragraph tags.

  1. Enter values in the input-enabled fields in accordance with the guidelines.

  2. You can overwrite the default font attributes.

Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Tabs End of the navigation path to specify the tab position.

An input screen appears, where you can define the required tab positions as well as the unit of measurement and the alignment. In the standard version, the alignment is set to LEFT (left-aligned).

Choose Start of the navigation path Attributes Next navigation step Outline End of the navigation path to define the outline. Additional values are displayed that have been set by the system.

Enter values in the input-enabled fields. You can change the values set by the system.

Repeat the steps above until all paragraph formats have been defined.
