
When developing BSP applications, it is useful if you make the following settings in the browser:
Set the development language
Display new sessions in the same browser window
Display error messages from the SAP Web AS
The description of these settings is intended for MicrosoftÓ Internet Explorer 5.5.
Set the development language
Your main development and display languages should match the default language that is specified in the browser.
To do so, choose .
On the General tab page, choose Languages.
In the Language Preference window, enter your preferred language and then choose OK.
On the Internet Options window, choose the pushbutton OK.
Display new sessions in the same browser window
If you open new sessions, you can have these processed in the previous browser window to avoid having a large number of browser instances open on your desktop.
To do so, choose .
Choose the Advanced tab.
In Browsing, activate the option Reuse windows for launching shortcuts and choose OK.
Display error messages from the SAP Web AS
Instead of the usual error messages from the browser, you can also display more detailed HTTP error messages, which originate from the SAP Web AS.
To do so, choose .
Choose the Advanced tab.
In Browsing, deactivate both of the options Show friendly HTTP error messages and Show friendly URLs and choose OK.
