Configuring the Sorting of Dynamic Navigation iViewsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

By default, dynamic navigation iViews are sorted according to an internal logic based on multiple criteria. The procedure below configures the iViewsSrv service to use the PCD name of dynamic navigation iViews as the sort parameter.

Procedure


  1. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, locate the application com.sap.portal.ivs.iviewservice , and the service iViewsSrv .

  2. Change the value of the property dynamic.navigation.sorting.old to true .

Results

When you assign iViews to a page as dynamic navigation links, the iViews appear according to their PCD ID.
