Coverage Analyzer - KonsistenzenLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

To display the consistency checks, open the Administration folder and choose Consistency Checks. You can perform a consistency check for the criteria listed in the screen below. You can display the results of all the checks using the Monitor function.

Server

This function checks whether the status in the shared memory matches the status in the database. One of the reasons for this can be a runtime error in the Coverage Analyzer, which deactivates this automatically.

Batch Jobs

This function checks whether all the batch jobs of the Coverage Analyzer are activated. If this is not the case, the batch jobs are all rescheduled by means of the Repair function. The batch jobs are used primarily to ensure that data collection is performed without interruptions and to initialize the Coverage Analyzer.

Tables

Tables may become inconsistent if the Coverage Analyzer fails on an application server due to a system error. This means that processing blocks may not be up to date in terms of name or number, or the number of resets may be incorrect. Inconsistencies of this type can be corrected in the tables concerned using the Repair function.

The Repair function also bridges the gap between activating and generating a program. This means, for example, that the active indicator for the unicode check is not displayed until a program has been generated although it was already valid when the program was activated. The current processing blocks are not displayed either until the program has been generated.
