Enabling Search for Fact SheetsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Administrators configure the ability of end users to search for SAP Fiori fact sheets.

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned the Content Admin role.

  • You have configured SAP Web Dispatcher or another reverse proxy or dispatching component to allow you to access SAP HANA catalogs.

  • You have assigned fact sheet-related content to roles, using the remote content editor.

  • You have set the system from which you assign content as the destination.

  • You have selected ABAP in the SAPUI5 Library Source field in the Fiori Framework Page configuration UI.

Context

You can determine whether end users can retrieve any fact sheets for which they are authorized when searching in the home page and tile catalog.

Fact sheets are applications that display contextual information and key facts about central objects of the SAP Business Suite used in business operations, such as Customers or Suppliers. Users can open a fact sheet tile and drill down into its details, or navigate from one fact sheet to its related fact sheets. Procedure

  1. In the portal, go to Start of the navigation path Content Administration Next navigation step Portal Display Next navigation step Framework Page Configuration End of the navigation path, and choose Fiori Framework Page.
  2. Select the Enable Search for Fact Sheets checkbox and save.
