Copying a Rule ScriptLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can create multiple copies of a rule script.

Procedure

  1. Locate the flow ruleset .

    For more information, see Locating the Flow Ruleset

  2. Expand the flow ruleset node, the Rule Scripts folder and in the context menu of a rule script node, choose Copy .

  3. In the context menu of the Rule Scripts folder in the same flow ruleset or another flow ruleset.

In the Project Explorer view, you should see a copy of the Rule Script node.

Note

You can copy and paste a rule flow across flow rulesets and across DCs.

When you make copies of a rule script in the same flow ruleset, you can identify the copied version of the rule flow by the prefix "Copy of". For instance when you copy and paste a rule script called "Create Report" a copy of the rule script gets created such as , "Copy of Create Report".
