 Navigation StackLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

All of the navigation steps that you make in an ABAP Workbench session are automatically recorded by the system on a navigation stack. You can use this stack to return to particular navigation targets within the same session.

Procedure
  1. To display the navigation stack, choose  with the quick info text Display Navigation Window from the application toolbar.

    The system displays a list of the navigation steps in a separate window area.

  2. The buttons  with the quick info text Previous Object and  with the quick info text Next Object allow you to navigate forwards and backwards in the tools.
  3. Double-click on an entry in the stack to go directly to the respective object.
    Note

    There is a separate navigation stack for each internal session.
