Setting Up an ABAP Services Registry

Prerequisites

You use SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EHP2, Service Package 08 or higher.

You have the role: SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_CONFIGURATOR. For more information, see SAP Note 1318883 Information published on SAP site .

Context

You can set up any ABAP system as a Services Registry to register Web services.

Procedure

In SOA Manager (transaction code SOAMANAGER), on the Services Registry tab, choose Services Registry.
On the Administration tab, select the provider interfaces and save.

Results

The provider interfaces of the Services Registry are now configured. Consumers can now set up connections and publish services in the Services Registry.
