Using the Import History Web UILocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

On the Import History Web UI you can display all transports that have been imported into a particular system for a specific time interval together with their return codes.

The default time interval is the previous week. You can change the interval as you need.

You can expand the transport node to display the objects that belong to the transport.

You can switch to Analysis Mode to check if objects have been downgraded by objects in transports which have been imported later, but have an earlier export time stamp. For more information, see Using Analysis Mode in Import History Web UI.

Note You can display the import history for ABAP and non-ABAP systems as well as display the import logs. However, Analysis Mode is only available for non-ABAP systems and local ABAP systems. You cannnot use Analysis Mode for remote ABAP systems.

Procedure

  1. Start the Import Queue Web UI for the system whose import history you want to display, and choose History.

A list of transports which have been imported in the default time interval is displayed together with more details on the transports, such as the import date, owner, and return code.

  2. You have the following options:
    • To change the time interval, select a start or an end date and choose Refresh.

    • To check whether objects in transports have been downgraded by other transports, choose Analysis Mode.

    • To open the Transport Log Viewer and display more information on the import, click on the return code icon.

    • You can sort displayed transports by clicking on the title of the column according to which you want to sort the transports. Clicking on the title again sorts the transports in the reverse order.

    • You can filter the display by entering a user name or a description in the entry field in the respective columns.
