Use

The phase administration tool for the Unified Connectivity administers remote-enabled function modules (RFMs) in the course of the UCON implementation and can be started using transaction UCONPHTL.

Process
  • On the start screen you can specify the selection criteria as specified in the list of RFMs as shown in the image. You can, for example, specify certain implementation phases (Logging, Evaluation, Final) and/or selection intervals.

  • A certain selection property affects the call statistics. Here you can choose if you want to display all RFMs that were called at least once in the current system. If this is the case, the corresponding RFMs are extracted from the UCON monitoring tool from the statistics records and stored in a database table. You can also explicitly display RFMs that were not called.

Note

All filter criteria specified on the selection screen are linked with a logical AND.

  • To select data, you can choose between the Simple and Extended Selection. The Extended Selection provides you with additional selection criteria.

  • You can define the number of data records displayed on each page. Function keys for scrolling may be displayed on the next screen.
Note If you choose the function key Fields to switch to the Extended View (to display further fields or attributes) in the hit list, this usually increase the total number of data records found. This means that a single function module call can be displayed across multiple lines. The system then jumps automatically to the page of the extended view that contains the first data record of the simple view. The same applies when switching back to the simple (non-extended) view. This means that you stay in the same data range after you change the view and do not need to scroll there.
  • Select the Operations menu to get further information. You can branch to Customizing, call the setup tool for Unified Connectivity, and find the setup status information there. You can also continue to import and export Monitoring Data (statistics records) from and to other systems or clients or reset the setup for Unified Connectivity again.
  • After entering the selection criteria and selecting Execute, you reach the results list in display mode.
  • If you choose Change, you can execute further actions. You can:

    • Select individual lines and make phase status changes (logging, evaluation, final) for them.

    • Define assignments to Communication Assemblies(CAs) or resolve existing assignments.

      Note

RFMs that are not assigned to a CA can no longer be called externally at a later time (phase status Final).
