Menu Functions - Configuration in SM50Locate this document in the navigation structure

Selected menu entries of the process overview are described below:

  • Change the components of the trace file:

Start of the navigation path Administration Next navigation step Trace Next navigation step Active Components End of the navigation path

You can increase the trace level (0 = no trace; 1 = error trace; 2 = full trace; 3 = full trace with buffers), as well as add components that write information to the trace file. The components selected here are also relevant for creating snapshots.

  • Change the display of the process overview:

Start of the navigation path List Next navigation step Configuration End of the navigation path

You can personalize your view of the translation statistics. For instance, you can hide the info area, or display the detail information in the classic view too. You can also specify whether you want to display active processes only. The settings you make here will apply to all further sessions you open.

  • Change the trace file setting:

Start of the navigation path Administration Next navigation step Trace Next navigation step Display Settings Next navigation step Load Components / Display Components End of the navigation path

With the load components option you can restrict the components that are loaded into the file. With the display components option you can restrict the display further. The display components are a subset of the load components. This restriction is particularly useful for very large trace files.
