Accessing Entry Screens for Long Text Object Types

Access the entry screens for long text object types by following the instructions given in this topic.

1. In transaction Translation: Initial Screen (SE63), choose  Translation  ABAP Objects  Long Texts (Documentation) . Alternatively, you can proceed as follows:
   1. Choose the Long Texts button in the application toolbar.
   2. Enter d in the command field and press Enter.
   The Object Type Selection (Object Groups) dialog box appears. All ABAP long text object types are listed in this dialog box, which is organized according to object groups.
2. Select the object type you want to translate by double-clicking it.
   For example, to access the entry screen for message long texts, expand object group C6 F1 Help and select NA Messages.
3. Enter the technical name of the object you want to translate in the Object Name field.
4. Select the required source and target languages.
5. Choose Edit.
   The object opens for translation in the long text editor.
