Configuring the Java WS Adapter

Context

The Web service (WS) adapter enables you to exchange SOAP messages between remote clients or Web service servers and the Integration Server. It supports WS-Reliable Messaging and WS-Security standards.

1. Create a communication channel in the Integration Directory.
2. Select the adapter type.
   • Name: WS_AAE
   • Namespace: http://sap.com/xi/XI/System
   • Software component version: SAP BASIS 7.5
3. Specify the direction (Sender or Receiver).
4. Configure the adapter.

   Which adapter-specific parameters you have to provide depends on whether it is a sender or receiver channel.
