
If you want to use transaction Translation Performance Monitor (TPMO) to monitor translation performance, you must schedule translation performance datasets so that they are created regularly.
You are authorized to execute reports in transaction ABAP Editor: Initial Screen (SE38).
Your translator profile in transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER) includes authorization object TPMA with the value 01 or 02.
Call transaction ABAP Editor (SE38).
Enter RS_TPMO_CREATE in the Program
field and choose
Execute.
The Create Translation Performance Monitor Dataset screen appears.
Leave the With Accumulation checkbox selected.
In the Target Language field, enter the language for which you want to create translation performance datasets. The multiple selection button enables you to enter more than one language.
If you leave this field empty, the system creates translation performance datasets for all defined target languages.
Choose .
The Background Print Parameters dialog box appears.
Choose
Continue.
The Start Time dialog box appears.
Choose Date/Time.
Enter a date and time for the first job next to Scheduled Start.
You are advised to schedule the report so that translation performance datasets are created when there is little or no translation activity in the system, such as at night.
Choose Period Values.
The Period Values dialog box appears.
Select the frequency with which you want the report to run.
You are advised to schedule the report so that translation performance datasets are created daily.
In the Period Values dialog box, choose
Save.
In the Start Time dialog box, choose
Save.
The report is scheduled to run in accordance with the criteria you specified in transaction SE38.
If you decide later that you do not want to record and store translation performance data in your system, deactivate the translation performance monitor by executing report RS_TPMO_STOP in transaction SE38.
