Monitoring an Evaluation RunLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have created an evaluation in transaction Translation Environment (LXE_MASTER).

Context

In large systems, evaluations can take several hours to run. It is therefore interesting to know how far the evaluation has progressed.

If translations are urgently required, translation can start for target languages for which the evaluation has finished (and for which worklists are already available) before the evaluation run has completely finished.

Procedure

  1. Call transaction LXE_MASTER and choose the Evaluations Evaluations tab page.
  2. Choose Current Run Current Run.
The Evaluation: <name of worklist> dialog box appears. Depending on the current stage of processing, the window is divided into a maximum of 4 sections:
    • Section I:

This shows you all of the jobs that have been initialized, but have not started to be processed yet. By expanding the node for an object type, you can see which target languages are affected.

    • Section R:

This shows you all of the evaluation jobs that are currently running.

    • Section X:

This section shows you the object types and languages for which the evaluations have already finished.

    • Section THREADS:

This shows you the current distribution of object types to job threads.

      Note

The displayed object groups are created dynamically during parallelization. If just a few objects need to be evaluated for an object type, a separate node is not created for the object type. You will find object types like these under the .MIX, .STY, or .ONE nodes. The affected object types are listed under their corresponding nodes in the section THREADS.

  3. To close the dialog box, choose Cancel Cancel.
