Connectivity Monitor in CCMS

You use the Connectivity monitor to monitor inbound and outbound queues for the SAP Core Interface (CIF) and inbound and outbound queues for XML messages from SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI). To do this, the monitor checks if the CIF or PI inbound and outbound queues are open or blocked. The results are assigned a severity, represented by a color. In the standard system, the Connectivity monitor checks for blocked queues every 840 seconds.

Prerequisites

You have set up a system group. For more information, see System Groups in the Alert Monitor.

You have activated the business function Supply Network Collaboration 1 (SCM_SNC_GEN_1).

Features

The following table lists the default color values that show if inbound and outbound queues are open or blocked:

Activities

You can change the default frequency of the connectivity check. To do this, in the CCMS Monitor Sets, select the node in the monitoring tree of the Connectivity monitor whose settings you want to change, and then choose the Properties pushbutton.
