Creating a Special Object List According to a WorklistLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are defined as a coordinator for all languages **** in transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER) .
  • Your translator profile has authorization object OBJL with the value 01.

Context

Example

You could create a special object list that only contains objects:
  • In worklist 0001
  • For target language enUS
  • With translation status new
  • That have not been deleted since worklist 0001 for target language English was created

Procedure

If you want to put some or all of the objects that are currently in a worklist into a special object list, proceed as follows:

  1. Call transaction LXE_MASTER.
  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Special Object Lists End of the navigation path.

    The Special Object Lists dialog box appears.

  3. Choose Worklist.

    The Create Object List from Worklist screen appears.

  4. Enter a brief description of the special object list in the Name field.

    Try to enter as meaningful a description as possible to help you recognize the special object list again later.

  5. Use the input help for the Worklist field and, in the dialog box that appears, select the worklist that is to be the basis for the special object list.
  6. Use the input help for the Target Language field and, in the dialog box that appears, select the target language that is to be the basis for the special object list.
  7. Use the input help for the Translation Status field and, in the dialog box that appears, select the translation status of the objects to be included in the special object list.
  8. If you want to exclude deleted objects from the special object list, enter X in the Check if Object Exists field.
  9. Schedule the job to run in the background.
  10. Return to the Special Object Lists dialog box and choose Job Overview to monitor the background job.

Results

The system creates a special object list in accordance with the parameters you defined.
