Searching for and Displaying Transport Requests (CTS_ORGANIZER)Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

When calling Transport Organizer Web UI (CTS_ORGANIZER), the system runs an initial search for transport requests. A message indicates whether any transport requests were found and how many were found. These transport requests are displayed under Search Results and Work Area.

A Search Criteria area is provided for more complex search activities. You can reach this from the initial screen of Transport Organizer Web UI using the Display Search Criteria link.

Procedure
  1. Start Transport Organizer Web UI.

  2. To show the search criteria, choose Display Search Criteria.

  3. You can select whether you want to search for transport requests, or, if you use central CTS, for transport collections.

  4. If you search for transport collections, you can enter one or multiple transport collection IDs. You can use the input help to further specify your search.

  5. If you search for transport requests, you can search for specific transport requests or tasks. Moreover, there are many search criteria available to provide ample search options.

  6. Optional: To search according to advanced search criteria, select the relevant link.

You can define more search criteria, such as transport request type, or the attributes of transport requests.

  7. To start the search, select Search or Search and Hide Search Criteria as required.

The transport requests that are found are displayed in the overview. The search criteria are either displayed or hidden depending on the option that you selected. If you selected Search and Hide Search Criteria and no transport requests were found, the search criteria area is still displayed.

Reset Search Criteria resets the search criteria to the values with which Transport Organizer Web UI was started.

Search Variants

You can save all entries that you currently made in the Search Criteria area as a search variant that you can load at a later point in time. This is useful, for example, if you frequently perform more complex searches.

  • Saved Search Variants allows you to load search variants that you previously saved for your user.

  • Save Search Variant As allows you to enter a name and save the search variant.
