Defining Publication Rules for a Services RegistryLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

A connection to the Services Registry has been set up and configured.

Procedure

  1. From the main SOA Manager screen, go to the Services Registry tab.

  2. Choose Services Registry Consumer Settings.

  3. On the Publication Rules tab, choose Create.

  4. Specify a name and a description for the new rule.

  5. Choose Next again.

  6. Select the objects you want to publish in the Services Registry and specify a rule.

  7. Choose Finish.

On the Java side, some additional configuration steps need to be made if a service registry is installed and available. Result

The publication rules have been created and automatically assigned to all Services Registries. You can create multiple rules, edit existing rules, and delete rules. For a rule to take effect, you have to activate the assignment to a Services Registry. For more information, see Assigning Publication Rules for the Services Registry.
