Use

To use SAP Gateway, you must configure your system to allow the consumer servers' applications to retrieve the data requested by users.

The SAP Gateway Foundation Configuration Guide explains the configuration settings you need to make before you can start working with SAP Gateway.

The configuration settings you need to make are divided into three sections:

  1. Quick Configuration

    The steps listed in the Quick Configuration section are intended as a quick starter guide. These steps do not replace the comprehensive configuration settings outlined in the further sections of the Configuration Guide.

  2. General Configuration Settings

  3. SAP Gateway Configuration

Implementation Guide

The SAP Gateway specific configuration tasks are included in the SAP Gateway Implementation Guide (IMG) which is available in the system. Go to transaction SPRO, open the SAP Reference IMG and navigate to Start of the navigation path SAP NetWeaver Next navigation step SAP Gateway End of the navigation path and Start of the navigation path SAP Gateway Service Enablement End of the navigation path.

If you want to use Worfklow or Subscription and Notification Flow, further function-specific configuration steps are required:
