Background documentation Smaller Business Partner and Subsidiary Integration  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

The following figure illustrates the main components required for a smaller business partner and subsidiary integration and the communication between these components.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

The SAP J2EE Engine and the Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK) must be installed on the business partner system.

The PCK and the Integration Directory are used to configure your business-to-business (B2B) integration.

The Integration Server then performs all the message processing.

The Runtime Workbench is used to monitor message processing on all involved components, the Solution Manager can be used to monitor your application components, and the PCK is used to monitor the integration with possible backend systems.
